On the afternoon of April 25, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Quang Hien, Director of the Department of Health, said that the Food Safety Department had just issued Official Dispatch 859/ATTP-KN recommending that people should not use two health protection food products suspected to be fake.

Recently, the Investigation Police Agency ( Ministry of Public Security ) conducted an investigation and discovered a number of fake and substandard food products, including 2 health protection food products suspected of being fake produced by Herbitech Technology Company Limited (address: Block 8, Phu Lo Commune, Soc Son District, Hanoi City). Specifically, the product AN NGON BABY SHARK; the trader responsible for the product: Drapharco Trading and Pharmaceutical Company Limited. The product Medi Kid Calcium K2; the trader responsible for the product: Medi Uspharma Pharmaceutical Company Limited.

According to research, the delicious product Baby Shark is a nutritional supplement specially designed for children, providing essential amino acids, minerals and vitamins for the body. Medi Kid Calcium K2 is a product that helps supplement calcium and vitamin D3 for the body, helping to increase height and limit rickets in children.

While the authorities are verifying and handling the case, the Food Safety Department recommends that the public not use the above two products until the police have a final conclusion. The Food Safety Department will continue to work closely with the police to promptly inform the public.
