The report at the conference showed that in 2024, Department V proactively and promptly deployed and completed well the assigned tasks in areas such as professional work, state management, internal construction, administrative reform and other aspects of work.
The above results were achieved thanks to the timely, close and decisive direction of the Government Inspectorate's leadership; the solidarity, consensus, efforts and endeavors of all civil servants in the Department; the coordination of departments, divisions and units in the Government Inspectorate as well as of local ministries and branches.
Through the supervision work, the inspection teams have been able to properly follow the procedures for conducting the inspection. The scope, subjects, and contents of the inspection have been approved by the Government Inspector General. At the same time, it has helped the Government Inspector General promptly handle difficulties and problems arising during the inspection process.
The appraisal work continued to be performed well, the appraisal report was highly appreciated by the Government Inspectorate's leaders and the Head of the inspection team was directed to receive, edit and have a report of acceptance, contributing significantly to improving the quality of inspection conclusions in particular and the quality of inspection work in general of the Government Inspectorate.
Through the work of monitoring, urging and inspecting the implementation of the Inspection Conclusions, agencies, units, organizations and individuals have taken the work more seriously, gradually improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the inspection work. Through urging and inspecting, timely proposals and recommendations have been made to handle problems in the process of implementing the Inspection Conclusions.
Regarding the direction of tasks in 2025, Department V determined to continue to monitor the activities of inspection teams that have not yet finished at the unit and will monitor the activities of other inspection teams when assigned by the leaders of the Government Inspectorate; conduct appraisals of draft inspection conclusions when assigned by the leaders of the Government Inspectorate; be more proactive in monitoring and urging inspection conclusions; arrange forces to implement plans to inspect inspection conclusions and perform ad hoc tasks when assigned; focus on monitoring, urging, regularly updating information on the implementation results of inspection conclusions directed by the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption and Negativity, promptly synthesizing for the Government Inspector General to report to the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption and Negativity, the National Assembly , the Government, and the Prime Minister.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Inspector General of the Government Duong Quoc Huy acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that the collective leadership and civil servants of Department V had achieved in 2024. Deputy Inspector General Duong Quoc Huy emphasized that through the report as well as the opinions at the meeting, it was shown that Department V had completed the assigned tasks, including outstanding points such as participating in inspection delegations to conduct supervision to avoid negligence; the work of appraising draft inspection conclusion reports was also carried out seriously, the quality was increasingly improved, it can be said to be very good. Achieving this result was the effort of the cadres and civil servants themselves, especially the Department's leaders who closely followed the work.
Deputy Inspector General of the Government Duong Quoc Huy acknowledged the proposals of Department V on the direction and tasks in 2025 as well as the opinions discussed at the meeting. At the same time, he suggested that in 2025, Department V continue to strengthen and innovate methods in direction and operation activities, promote flexibility and practicality to promote the overall strength of the Department. Strictly implement regulations, rules and instructions on professional work procedures.
In addition, improving the quality and ensuring the progress of reports, especially reports on supervision and appraisal of draft inspection conclusions, response documents, post-inspection inspection reports, and determining the quality and timeliness of reports are important measures to evaluate and classify the quality of civil servants.
Closely follow the agency's work plan for 2025 to develop and organize the implementation of the Department's work plan, ensuring progress and quality; regularly urge and inspect to promptly detect difficulties and problems for resolution.
Receiving the direction of Deputy Inspector General of the Government Duong Quoc Huy, Director of Department V Nguyen Manh Cuong hopes to continue to receive the attention of the leaders of the Government Inspectorate, especially Deputy Inspector General of the Government Duong Quoc Huy in directing and operating, and continue to accompany Department V to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
