Provincial Tax Department won the Traditional Sports Tournament of the Emulation Block of Financial and Banking Agencies in 2024

This year's tournament has more than 200 athletes from 10 delegations from agencies in the Competition Block of financial and banking agencies.

Athletes compete in four events: badminton, table tennis, volleyball and tug of war. Depending on the age group and number of athletes, some events will be single elimination, the remaining events will be divided into groups and compete in a round robin to select the best teams and athletes to advance to the next round.

With an even team, participating in the competition and achieving high results in most of the competitions, the Provincial Tax Department won the first prize for the whole team; the second prize belonged to the Provincial Customs Department; the third prize belonged to the Lao Cai State Treasury.

The tournament is held annually, creating a useful playground for officials, civil servants and public employees of agencies under the Emulation Bloc of financial and banking agencies. The tournament also contributes to promoting the movement of physical training and sports following the example of President Ho Chi Minh ; spreading vibrant and healthy cultural and sports activities. This is also an activity to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2024) and the 138th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2024).
