'Building a green life together' from small things with a big passion

'We are facing global warming every day. We can change this situation from the smallest actions in life, starting from each family. The actions of members from small things can also create a huge impact, if with great passion and love for the environment', Chairman of the Board of Directors of NQH Education System Che Ngoc Bao Tran shared.

On the morning of April 16, at the NQHEducation System (Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City), Thanh Nien Newspaper and the NQH Education System co-organized the talk show "Building a green life together" - an event within the 5th Beautiful Living contest in 2025. This is an opportunity to spread the message of green living, while at the same time arousing profound human values, towards a good living environment, for a sustainable Vietnam.

Speaking at the program, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Nien Newspaper Lam Hieu Dung emphasized: " We are living in a time full of movement - where economic , technological and social achievements are developing rapidly but at the same time facing unprecedented challenges: climate change, environmental pollution, depleted resources and seriously damaged ecosystems. Faced with the urgent demands of life, many questions are raised: 'What must we do to have a truly clean natural environment?', 'How can each person make positive, rapid and sustainable changes to build a green life today?', because there is nothing else: A healthy planet is the most precious gift we can give to future generations".

Bringing to the discussion many outstanding achievements in nature protection activities, Miss Environment Vietnam 2022 Nguyen Thanh Ha said: "Living beautifully is a practical action that we should start today. I think that to live beautifully with the environment, we should approach 'green knowledge', which comes from many places, can come from discussions - like this discussion, or related fields to gain more knowledge for ourselves. If we are kind to the environment and nature, we will have a better, more humane living environment".

Talking about the secret of NQH Education System integrating education on green lifestyle and environmental protection into the curriculum, as well as how these initiatives have influenced students' awareness and actions in building a sustainable future, Mr. Truong Phu Tuan - Director of NQH Education System concluded: "From an early age, we should integrate advanced lessons in awareness and life skills for students about protecting the surrounding living environment, not littering but instructing them to know how to classify garbage to put in public trash cans. Each teacher is a green living ambassador for young people to follow...".

Young writer Cao Viet Quynh confided: "When I write, I write about abstract things, I always think about heroes fighting monsters, but through this contest, I have seen very ordinary 'heroes' of Beautiful Living , coming out of the pure nature they protect, with just awareness and simple actions". He also affirmed that writers cannot create a work if separated from nature: "Without nature, there will be no literature and no good stories to tell".
