Contest "Learning about knowledge on preventing and combating domestic violence" in 2025

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - Responding to the National Action Month for Domestic Violence Prevention and Control in 2025; commemorating Vietnamese Family Day (June 28), on the morning of May 28, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the Contest "Learning about domestic violence prevention and control" in 2025.

Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Van Tu delivered the opening speech of the Contest.

The competition has the participation of 13 teams representing 13 districts, towns and cities: Hong Bang, Hai An, Kien An, Le Chan, Ngo Quyen, Duong Kinh, Do Son, An Duong, An Lao, Tien Lang, Kien Thuy, Vinh Bao, Thuy Nguyen. Team members are officials, civil servants, employees, workers, people living, working and studying in the locality; officials, actors of mobile propaganda teams, mass art teams at the grassroots level; members of the Happy Family Club.

The teams compete in three parts: greeting, talent, and knowledge. Accordingly, the greeting part: general introduction of the team, awareness of the purpose and meaning of the Contest. Talent part: through skits, short plays, singing, reciting poems, playing, singing, etc., expressing content related to family work and preventing and combating domestic violence; a set of criteria for family behavior; content honoring family values, building a "warm, equal, progressive and happy" family. Knowledge part: learning about family lifeeducation ; preventing and combating domestic violence; Party policies, State laws and policies on family work and preventing and combating domestic violence.

Through the Contest, we aim to promote and diversify the propaganda, dissemination, awareness raising and responsibility of all levels, sectors and the whole society on the position, role and importance of family work and prevention of domestic violence in the cause of national construction and defense; to spread and honor good family values; to educate ethics and lifestyle in the family; to prevent and combat domestic violence; to build a "prosperous, progressive and happy" family; to contribute to building a modern, civilized and friendly Hai Phong city. In addition, the Contest is an opportunity for grassroots cadres to exchange and share experiences in professional work; and a stage for non-professional actors to shine and demonstrate their artistic talents./.
