Youth of Hai Phong City People's Committee proactively, creatively, building a livable city

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of May 29, the Executive Committee of the City People's Committee organized the launching program of the "Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign" in 2025; announced the decisions to establish the Emulation Cluster, establish the Young Theory Club, and the Young Creativity Club. Attending the event were comrades: Pham Quang Sang, Deputy Secretary of the City People's Committee Party Committee; Nguyen Van Hieu, Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong City Youth Union.

“Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign” is one of the biggest action movements of the year of the Youth Union, symbolizing the spirit of shock, volunteerism and community of Vietnamese youth. This is also an opportunity for the youth of Hai Phong city in general and the members and officials of the Youth Union of the City People's Committee in particular to continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, with the spirit of "Youth Union officials and members of the Hai Phong City People's Committee take the lead in performing professional tasks and Youth Union work", contributing to building the city increasingly green - clean - civilized - modern.

The 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign with the theme "Youth of Hai Phong City People's Committee proactively, creatively, building a livable city" focuses on practical goals such as: organizing training courses on working skills for youth union members; strengthening propaganda for union officials to use the artificial intelligence assistant tool "AI of the Union" to serve their work; deploying and replicating the models of "AI Youth" Club and "AI of the Union" artificial intelligence assistant. At the same time, the campaign also focuses on implementing youth projects to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas; participating in environmental protection, responding to climate change, building "Green Hai Phong"; organizing activities to support and care for children, especially in difficult areas; along with social security activities, caring for people in border areas, islands and difficult areas.

At the program, the Executive Committee of the City People's Committee presented a children's playground worth 45 million VND to Thuy Nguyen City Youth Union to carry out youth projects in Duong Quan ward; and presented a "Lighting up the countryside" power line worth 38 million VND to Vinh Bao District Youth Union to carry out in Vinh Hai commune, Vinh Bao district.

On the occasion of International Children's Day June 1, the Executive Committee of the City People's Committee also presented 10 cartons of milk to children of officials and employees of Hai Phong Water Supply Joint Stock Company. In addition, the Youth Union of the Department of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with LG Display Company Limited presented 40 gifts worth 20 million VND to disadvantaged children in Duong Quan Ward.
