This weekend, 3,000 people in Ho Chi Minh City will receive free health check-ups from Manulife.

On December 15, Manulife Vietnam will organize free medical examinations for 3,000 people in Ho Chi Minh City. This is also the final destination in the series of "Healthy Living Every Day" festivals that Manulife has organized in many provinces and cities with more than 10,000 free medical examinations for people.

The event will take place from 7 - 12 am and 1 - 3 pm, Sunday, December 15 at Nguyen Hue Walking Street (intersection between Hai Trieu and Ngo Duc Ke streets), Ben Nghe ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

With 3,000 participants, this is one of the large-scale public health events in Ho Chi Minh City in 2024.

Continuing to coordinate with the Vietnam Young Physicians Association, Manulife will bring 3,000 free health check-ups to people in Ho Chi Minh City, including soldiers, demobilized soldiers, students, young people, people with meritorious services to the revolution, families with preferential policies and ordinary workers.

At the event, people will receive a health check-up with a series of steps such as: general internal examination, cardiovascular, diabetes, respiratory, ear, nose and throat examination; ultrasound, electrocardiogram, chest X-ray, osteoporosis measurement; blood sugar, blood fat, uric acid test for gout patients... People will also be tested for Helicobacter Pylori (HP) bacteria through blood and screened for stomach cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer as prescribed by the doctor. In addition, people will also receive health advice and free medicine based on their health status after the examination.

More than 200 doctors and medical staff along with 150 Manulife volunteers supported people at this event.

Besides health check-ups, the "Healthy Living Every Day" festival in Ho Chi Minh City will bring many games and "Show Your Health" challenges with many attractive gifts for participants.

Before arriving in Ho Chi Minh City, the "Healthy Living Every Day" festival series had visited many provinces and cities such as Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Da Nang and Hanoi and provided free medical examinations to more than 7,000 people. Through this series of meaningful medical examinations and treatment activities, many people promptly detected medical conditions, especially diseases related to the digestive tract.

The program arranges many mobile X-ray vehicles to promptly serve the people.

The "Healthy Living Every Day" festival series is a continuous activity of the "Live - Clean - Smart - Green" community program with the theme "Show off" Health initiated by Manulife Vietnam. In phase 1 taking place in July, this event was held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with a total of 2,000 free medical examinations. In phase 2 starting in November, the Canadian insurance company has continuously brought more than 10,000 medical examination opportunities to people in Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Da Nang , Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
