| Red Cross Society of Ward 1, Da Lat gives gifts to people in difficult circumstances |
The Da Lat Red Cross Society has launched a competition to promote humanitarian activities throughout the city. Continue to maintain and implement the Campaign "Each organization, each individual is associated with a humanitarian address"; Associations and grassroots branches regularly support 191 cases of lonely elderly people, families in difficulty, and sick people. Volunteer groups continue to distribute zero-dong food at Lam Dong General Hospital.
The Da Lat Red Cross Society mobilized the city's Motor Sports Club and the Tay Nguyen clubs to present 100 gifts to the disadvantaged people of Xuan Tho commune worth 80 million VND; mobilized benefactors to present 25 people in especially difficult circumstances with the amount of 70 million VND.
The Red Cross Associations of wards and communes mobilized charity groups to donate 2,440 gifts to disadvantaged families worth more than 1.5 billion VND.

Dalat Red Cross Society supported 50 million VND to build a charity house for a poor household in Ta Nung commune. Ward 10 Red Cross Society inaugurated a charity house and repaired 2 charity houses worth 125 million VND. Xuan Truong Secondary and High School Red Cross Society mobilized resources to help a poor student with a serious illness, the amount given to the family was 134 million VND.
The Red Cross Association of Trai Mat Primary School mobilized and presented 46 gifts worth more than 23 million VND. The Red Cross Association of Nguyen Trai School presented 15 scholarships worth 3 million VND. The Red Cross Association of Lam Dong Province presented 42 scholarships worth 100 million VND to disadvantaged students in Da Lat City.

During the Humanitarian Month, the Da Lat Red Cross Society coordinated with Tam Sai Gon Dental Clinic to provide free dental examinations and results to 2,229 students of Phan Chu Trinh and Nguyen Dinh Chieu schools. The Ward 7 Red Cross Society coordinated with a team of doctors from My Tho City to examine, distribute medicine, and give gifts to 100 people in difficult circumstances, worth 50 million VND.
The Red Cross of Ward 12 coordinated with the Military Academy Clinic to provide general health check-ups and free medicine to 60 people, totaling over 40 million VND. Continuing to mobilize emergency blood donations to save lives at Lam Dong General Hospital and at the fixed blood donation point, receiving 321 units of blood.
Not only implementing social and charitable activities in the city, the Da Lat Red Cross Society also expands its area to help many difficult situations inside and outside the province.
At the launching ceremonies of the Humanitarian Month at the provincial and district levels, the Red Cross Society of Da Lat City donated 5 million VND and 1,000 notebooks worth 5 million VND to Bao Lam district; 1 charity house worth 50 million VND to Dam Rong district; 5 cash gifts worth 5 million VND to Veterans in need; 500 notebooks worth 2.5 million VND to Lac Duong district; and 1 livelihood support gift worth 3 million VND to Binh Thuan province.
Implementing the Safety Program for Poor Fishermen launched by the Central Association and the Provincial Association, the Da Lat City Red Cross Association mobilized the Association's branches to contribute 88.1 million VND and organized a delegation to present it to the Phu Yen Provincial Red Cross Association to build a charity house and 10 livelihood packages for poor and disadvantaged fishermen.

Over the years, the Da Lat Red Cross Society has always been at the forefront of implementing campaigns and emulation movements launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society and the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Society. The Society has played a good role as a bridge, focal point, and coordinator of humanitarian activities in Da Lat City, contributing to the completion of the goal of hunger eradication and poverty eradication (currently Da Lat has no poor households), ensuring social security in Da Lat City.
With the theme of Humanitarian Journey - Spreading Love, not only in this year's Humanitarian Month but also throughout the entire journey of activities, the Da Lat Red Cross Society has promoted social resources, aroused, connected love, and spread acts of kindness to all Da Lat residents.
Recently, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee awarded a Certificate of Merit to the Da Lat City Red Cross Society for achieving the title of Excellent Labor Collective in 2024, recognizing the positive contributions of the staff, members, and volunteers at all levels of the Da Lat City Red Cross Society.
