Da Nang auctions 10 surplus public vehicles, starting price from 14 million VND

According to the attached list, these vehicles are passenger cars and small cars, manufactured from 1997 to 2012, mainly used for general work in the past.

Specifically, the lowest starting price of more than 14 million VND belongs to the Toyota Hiace RZH I14L - BRMRS, manufactured in 2002. Meanwhile, the Mercedes-Benz E300 (W212), manufactured in 2009, has the highest starting price of nearly 471 million VND.

Some other cars such as Ford Everest UV9F or Hyundai Sonata... have starting prices ranging from 15 million to more than 400 million VND.

In the above auction list, there are 4 expired passenger cars; 3 flooded cars (flooding on October 14-15, 2022), including a 1998 Toyota Camry, starting price of over 87 million VND. All prices above do not include value added tax.

The Department of Finance of Da Nang City is assigned to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to organize the auction, ensuring compliance with current regulations.

According to the project to merge Quang Nam province and Da Nang city, after the merger, the total number of public cars of the two localities is 760. Of which, Da Nang city has 470 cars and Quang Nam province has 290 cars.

Regarding the handling plan, official vehicles will continue to be allocated to authorized positions. Official vehicles serving general provincial work will be reallocated to administrative agencies, Party agencies, Fatherland Front - mass organizations, and provincial public service units, managed by the new Da Nang City.

Similarly, district-level public vehicles are also reassigned to the grassroots level, serving the work of the government, Party, and mass organizations after the reorganization, on the basis of compliance with current standards and norms.

For specialized vehicles, the project proposes to continue using them for the right purposes according to the functions and tasks of units such as health, fire prevention and fighting, environment, national defense - security...
