At the reception, Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi welcomed the Thai delegation, Consul General of Thailand in Ho Chi Minh City Wiraka Moodhitaporn, and Deputy Governor of Khon Kaen Province Siriwat Pinijpanich to Da Nang, within the framework of the Meeting with Thailand in Da Nang. Thai Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, Wiraka Moodhitaporn, sincerely thanked the city for creating all favorable conditions for the Consulate General of Ho Chi Minh City to organize the event Meet Thailand in Da Nang . The Thai Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City also expressed his joy at the achievements the city has achieved in recent times, especially the city's regular successful organization of East-West economic corridor activities.
The Consul General of Ho Chi Minh City also agreed with the opinions of the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee on connecting and cooperating in various fields in the coming time, and added that the national airline of Thailand is studying to open a direct flight to Da Nang in the coming time, thereby contributing to strengthening the cooperative relationship and friendly exchange between localities of Vietnam and Thailand.
