Delegates questioned about: Selection, training and policies for athletes and artists in the arts; job creation for athletes and artists after the peak competition and performance period; implementation of tasks and solutions to stimulate and restore tourism in 2024 and the following years; solutions to develop night tourism products; specific policies to attract investment in cultural, sports and tourism activities in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
Participating in the questioning, delegate Ta Thi Yen, Deputy Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee, Provincial National Assembly Deputies, raised the question: “The Ministry’s report stated the requirement to attract investment resources, especially social resources to invest in infrastructure, technical facilities to develop products, creative art performances, traditional cuisine, regional specialties, large-scale, regional and international-class separate entertainment complexes. I would like to ask the Minister to let us know, in the coming time, are there any major projects of the private sector to build large-scale, regional and world-class separate entertainment complexes that are being researched or are being prepared for licensing in Vietnam?”
Responding to the question of delegate Ta Thi Yen, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that the tourism sector is similar to other sectors in which the Party and State want to call for investment. Currently, after the Covid-19 pandemic, our country's socio-economy has recovered and developed again. Many domestic enterprises have begun to seek investment opportunities in tourism in localities with good potential such as Quang Ninh, Da Nang, Can Tho... Investment in projects in the tourism sector also complies with the provisions of the Investment Law. When there are investment projects in the tourism sector, according to the assigned functions, tasks and powers, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will closely coordinate with ministries, branches and localities to ensure the most favorable implementation.
