11th Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2023-2028

On October 8, in Phan Rang - Thap Cham City, the 11th Congress of Ninh Thuan Provincial Trade Union, term 2023-2028, held its first session. Attending were 200 delegates representing nearly 35,000 union members in the province.

At this session, the congress elected the Presidium, the Secretariat, the Delegate Qualification Examination Board; approved the program and regulations of the congress; reported the results of the examination of delegate qualifications, voted on delegate qualifications; reported on the synthesis of comments on the Draft Documents of the 11th Congress of the Provincial Trade Union; reported on the synthesis of comments on the Draft Documents of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union (amended and supplemented); Review report of the Executive Committee (EC) of the Provincial Federation of Labor (PFL), term 2018-2023; presented the Personnel Plan of the Provincial Federation of Labor (PFL) Executive Committee for the term 2023-2028.

Delegates discussed and gave their opinions on the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union (amended and supplemented), Draft Documents of the 11th Congress of the Provincial Trade Union, Draft Documents of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union and the Personnel Plan for the Provincial Confederation of Labor Executive Committee for the 2023-2028 term.

On October 9, the congress held its second working session, focusing on discussing and evaluating the activities of the Provincial Trade Union for the 2018-2023 term and setting out goals, directions, and tasks for the 2023-2028 term; electing the Executive Committee of the Provincial Trade Union for the 2023-2028 term; and electing the official delegation to attend the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union.
