Dai Loc organizes Hung King's death anniversary in 2025

On the evening of April 6 (March 9 of the lunar calendar), at Truong An Memorial Temple, the District Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Dai Loc district solemnly held the Hung King's Commemoration Ceremony in 2025.

Attending the ceremony were delegates who are children of Dai Loc who are holding leadership positions in departments, branches and sectors of Quang Nam province; leaders of Dai Loc district; delegations of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district; sectors, organizations, the Association of the Elderly and representatives of clans from 18 communes and towns in the area.

Before the ceremony, the delegation of the district and communes and towns performed the palanquin procession and offered gifts to the Hung Kings. The delegation started from the foot of the Memorial Temple to the Bao An Tower - where the Ancestor Commemoration Ceremony took place. Leading the delegation was the honor guard carrying the national flag, festival flags and wreaths; followed by the ceremonial band, gongs and drums; and the youth force carrying the festival flags and palanquins with gifts to the Hung Kings.

People offered gifts to express gratitude to the Hung Kings and the ceremony was held solemnly.

The ceremony was held solemnly and respectfully according to traditional rituals. The oration highlighted the great contributions of the Hung Kings, the ancestors and heroic martyrs who contributed to building, defending and protecting the country for thousands of years.

The Hung Kings' Commemoration Ceremony in 2025 at Truong An Memorial Temple is a meaningful activity, aiming to honor the value of Hung Kings' worship - a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity; create a space for cultural exchange between localities in the district; demonstrate the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", show gratitude to ancestors' merits, and look back to the nation's roots.

At the same time, the ceremony contributes to maintaining and preserving traditional rituals that have united the community for thousands of years. The Party Committee, government and people of Dai Loc district vow to continue the Dragon Fairy tradition, unite as one, and carry out well the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh : "The Hung Kings have built the country, we, your descendants, must work together to protect the country", contributing to building the homeland and country to be more and more prosperous and happy.
