Dak Lak strives to be in the top 10 provinces and cities in handling administrative procedures and providing public services.

On the morning of October 30, the Provincial Steering Committee on Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation held its second meeting to assess the implementation of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the province in the past time and the direction and tasks for the last months of 2025.

Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee Do Huu Huy co-chaired the meeting.

Attending the meeting were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Cao Thi Hoa An; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Huynh Thi Chien Hoa; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Y Giang Gry Nie Knong; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dao My; leaders of departments, branches, localities and members of the Steering Committee.

In recent times, the Provincial Steering Committee has actively implemented tasks on science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation in the province; regularly worked with agencies, units, localities, and Working Groups to promptly grasp issues arising in the process of performing tasks.

Many flexible and timely solutions were proposed by the Provincial Steering Committee to help handle bottlenecks arising in the first days after the province's merger and the implementation of the two-level local government model.

Thanks to that, Dak Lak became one of the first provinces to "green" all the indicators of Plan No. 02-KH/BCĐTW of the Central Steering Committee on promoting digital transformation in a connected, synchronous, fast and effective manner, meeting the requirements of arranging and organizing the apparatus of the political system.

The province is also one of the localities that is highly appreciated in serving people and businesses through public service platforms and administrative procedures - ranked 8th out of 34 provinces and cities in the third quarter of 2025. At the meeting, delegates spent a lot of time discussing and analyzing the results achieved, pointing out the limitations, difficulties and causes in the process of implementing the tasks of developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the province. Many opinions focused on proposing solutions to remove "bottlenecks" in digital infrastructure, digital human resources, policy mechanisms and investment resources, so that localities can proactively deploy innovation models suitable to practical conditions.

Many opinions focused on proposing solutions to remove "bottlenecks" in digital infrastructure, digital human resources, policy mechanisms and investment resources, so that localities can proactively deploy innovation models suitable to practical conditions.

Dak Lak province strives to green all phase 2 targets of Plan 02-KH/BCĐTW by December 15, 2025; become one of the top 10 provinces and cities in the country in serving people and businesses in administrative procedures, providing public services, and be among the top 15 localities in the Digital Transformation (DTI) ranking and in the local innovation (PII) ranking.

To effectively implement tasks in the coming time, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet requested the entire political system to focus on improving the quality of administrative procedures, public services and the satisfaction of people and businesses; and develop the three pillars of science - technology, innovation and digital transformation in a balanced and sustainable manner.

The Provincial Party Secretary assigned the Provincial People's Committee to direct the Department of Science and Technology to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to review, adjust, consolidate resolutions, programs, and plans related to science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, and implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo. At the same time, urgently advise on the promulgation of the Provincial and Commune Digital Architecture to serve as a basis for unified implementation of digital transformation platforms throughout the area.

Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

He requested departments, branches and localities to promptly overcome difficulties in infrastructure and IT human resources; strengthen training and fostering of digital skills for officials and civil servants, especially at the commune level; and speed up the progress of digital transformation infrastructure projects. The Provincial Police were assigned to develop a project to ensure information safety and security; the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Department promoted the "Digital Education for the People" movement, building awareness and habits of applying digital technology among people and businesses, especially ethnic minorities.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized the need to strictly implement the spirit of "6 clarifications" in assigning tasks: clear people, clear work, clear time, clear responsibility, clear products and clear authority, considering this a mandatory requirement to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of direction.
