Dak Nong won 1 B prize at the 2024 National Music Festival

From November 17 to 20, at Pham Thi Tran Theater, Ninh Binh City, Ninh Binh Province, the 2024 National Music Festival took place, organized by the Vietnam Musicians Association in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ninh Binh Province.

The 2024 National Music Festival includes two contents: new compositions in 2023 and 2024 by musicians and the Vietnamese Voice Festival, instrumental solos.

The festival attracted 300 musicians, singers, and artists to participate with 120 new works by 40 art troupes from provinces and cities across the country. The works and performances participating in the 2024 National Music Festival have the theme of praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the Fatherland and the theme of Vietnam's sea and islands; achievements and movements of building new rural areas; Ninh Binh land and people... Many works carry the folk melodies of regions, especially folk music of ethnic groups in the region.

At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 9 gold medals and 9 silver medals to the Vietnamese vocal and instrumental solo performances; 17 A prizes and 39 B prizes to the newly composed works participating in the festival and 11 certificates of merit to the musicians with impressive performances in the festival.

Dak Nong province won 1 B prize with the work "Nam Blang, where I find my way back" by musician Manh Ho; 2 certificates of merit for the works "Bao gio anh ve" by musician Vo Cuong and "Tieng vong dai ngan" by musician Cao Nam Cuong.

The 2024 National Music Festival is one of seven activities responding to the Ninh Binh Tourism Festival Week 2024 and aiming to welcome the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Musicians Association (term 2025-2030).
