The seminar reviewed the tradition and history of the development of Vietnamese fine arts. 73 years ago, on December 10, 1951, Uncle Ho sent a letter to artists on the occasion of a large fine arts exhibition celebrating the 5th anniversary of National Resistance Day (December 19, 1946) and the success of the 2nd National Party Congress. December 10 is taken as the traditional day of the Vietnamese fine arts community.
Over the past 20 years, Dak Nong Fine Arts Association members have created hundreds of works expressing the characteristics of the land, culture and people of the Southern Central Highlands.
Many authors and works achieved high quality and won high prizes at regional and national art competitions and exhibitions. Typically, painter Nguyen Ngoc Khai won third prize in the national propaganda painting to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory Day (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), and an encouragement prize for a propaganda painting on the topic of anti-corruption.
