On the afternoon of May 31, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Tat Thang inspected the preparations for the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year in Cam Xuyen district and Ha Tinh city. Accompanying him were representatives of leaders of relevant departments, branches and localities.
The delegation inspected the examination sites at Cam Xuyen High School, Le Van Thiem Secondary School (Ha Tinh City) and the test printing location. All work was carried out seriously and absolutely safely.
This year, Cam Xuyen High School has 459 candidates, the school has arranged 20 exam rooms, 66 officers, teachers, and staff to perform exam supervision and ensure exam safety. Le Van Thiem Secondary School has 383 candidates, the school has arranged 16 exam rooms, 50 officers, teachers, and staff to supervise and ensure exam safety.
Currently, the testing sites have completed preparations in terms of facilities and human resources to successfully organize the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year.
At the inspection, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Tat Thang acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Steering Committee and the examination councils in carefully preparing human resources, facilities and backup plans to best serve the exam.
In order for the 2025-2026 high school entrance exam to take place safely, seriously, transparently and achieve the best results, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested members of the exam steering committee at the exam sites and the exam council to promote a sense of responsibility, work with professionalism and dedication.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted that the security of exam questions, test papers and grading procedures must be given top priority, strictly implementing exam regulations, absolutely not allowing any errors or negativity to occur.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also directed to maximize coordination forces to ensure security, order and traffic safety; effectively deploy fire prevention and fighting measures; strictly control food safety and hygiene and fully prepare necessary medical conditions during the exam period.
Local Party committees and authorities need to continue to pay attention to and actively support examination sites in logistics, creating the most favorable conditions for officials to perform their duties and candidates to focus on completing the exam well.
In the 2025-2026 school year 10th grade entrance exam, candidates will take 3 subjects: Literature, English and Math on June 3. Candidates taking the specialized high school exam will take the specialized subject exam on June 4.
This year, the province has more than 16,400 candidates participating at 36 testing sites (a decrease of more than 2,000 candidates compared to the previous school year). This is the first year the exam is organized according to the exam questions of the 2018 GeneralEducation Program.
To ensure the exam takes place in accordance with regulations, the Department of Education and Training has mobilized 2,400 officials, teachers, medical staff, police forces... to work at the examination councils. Along with that, the sector has established inspection teams to inspect the preparation work; completed training on professional skills and exam invigilation procedures for officials and teachers on duty.
