Not only doctors and nurses from Hospital 19-8, but also at the National Military Training Center 4 on the morning of August 5, there were medical units of the People's Public Security and the Army such as: Traditional Medicine Hospital of the Ministry of Public Security; medical units of the Mobile Police Command; Hanoi City Police Hospital; Hospital 103, Hospital 354, Hospital 108 (Ministry of National Defense) taking care of the health of officers and soldiers participating in the general training for the parade, marching to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (task A80).

To ensure the health of officers and soldiers, since yesterday (August 4), units have focused on setting up tents, transporting emergency equipment from basic to advanced such as: Ventilators, tracheostomy and intubation devices, oxygen... to best serve the emergency work for officers and soldiers suffering from heat stroke, sunstroke, difficulty breathing...

The weather in Hanoi in recent days has been extremely harsh. To ensure the best emergency work, during this training session, the People's Public Security Medical Center has increased the number of camps and soldiers to avoid overload when many soldiers fainted due to heatstroke.
Although yesterday Hanoi was at its hottest, with temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius, the parade groups still practiced. Doctors and nurses accompanying the parade groups were always on duty to ensure adequate water, fluid replacement, and the best health care for soldiers who were tired, dehydrated, sunstroke, or heatstroke during the training process...

Following the parade of the Mobile Police Command since May, Dr. Nguyen Hoai Nam, Deputy Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Head of the Medical Team of Hospital 19-8, has a lot of experience in handling serious and special emergency cases.

Dr. Nam said that on the morning of August 5, the weather was more pleasant than the day before, the heat was not as harsh and hot as the previous days, during the general training session, only 5 soldiers suffered from heatstroke and heat shock and were taken to the emergency tent. These cases were all mild, they were cooled down, given fluids, and regained consciousness a short time later and returned to their units.

During the first training session, due to the harsh weather, many soldiers fainted, suffered from heatstroke, had difficulty breathing, and had to be taken to the emergency room. There was a tent that could receive up to 20 soldiers at a time. The medical force of the People's Public Security Force was increased to about 100 people with modern equipment to ensure the best emergency care and medical care for the soldiers.

Participating in medical work during the training and joint exercises, Hospital 19-8 mobilized about 50 rotating doctors and nurses, some of whom have been following the parade training group since May.
