Ensure construction progress of DT.310 overpass

The DT.310B overpass project is an important item in the overall project of the Hanoi - Lao Cai railway parallel road, the northern route, from Khai Quang Industrial Park (Vinh Yen) to the 36m road of Binh Xuyen Industrial Park to Ba Thien Industrial Park (Binh Xuyen); invested by the Provincial Management Board of Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works, constructed by Phuc Thanh An Company Limited.

With a total investment of nearly 680 billion VND, after completion, the project will contribute to connecting important routes of the province such as National Highway 2, Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway, DT.310, DT.302...

At the same time, connecting industrial parks and urban areas in the province, creating a convenient traffic network, improving exploitation efficiency, meeting trade needs, creating momentum to promote socio-economic development of the province.

The bridge girder system is prepared by the contractor, waiting for the day of completion.

According to the design, the overpass construction project on DT.310 is over 61m long, aiming to reduce the pressure on traffic volume in areas with complex traffic organization, near some industrial parks in Binh Xuyen district.

Therefore, before and during the implementation of this project, the investor directed the contractor to deploy traffic safety measures on the route such as arranging mobile barriers, speed limit signs, speed bumps, installing markers, warning ropes, etc.

At the same time, arrange 2 workers to work 2-3 shifts/day to direct, regulate, and guide vehicles and pedestrians to avoid dangerous areas 24/7... In addition, equip 100% of workers with protective gear; comply with safety regulations when working at heights, using machinery and equipment.

Construction of the DT.310B overpass project has been underway since early March 2025. Up to now, the contractor has arranged construction material yards, constructed service roads, completed 2 piers, and finished casting and assembling girder slabs.

At the project site, the contractor is mobilizing machinery, equipment, and human resources to carry out the excavation and embankment of the road leading to the bridgehead. At the same time, implementing solutions to divide traffic flow and ensure traffic safety on the route to prepare for the construction of the T1 pillar - the connection between the two spans of the bridge between DT.310B.

Accordingly, during the entire construction process of the T1 pillar, traffic will be guided and routed to both sides of the road to ensure safety. After completing the pillar construction, the contractor will restore the road surface structure, remove the signs to proceed to the girder installation, and spread asphalt concrete on the bridge deck; striving to complete the project by July 31.

The contractor focused on human resources and equipment to carry out leveling of the road leading to the bridgehead on the route.

Appreciating the efforts of the construction unit during the project implementation, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hoan - Project Management Director, Provincial Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board said: The construction progress of the DT.310 overpass has so far met the requirements. In terms of quality, the construction items ensure the technical requirements and scale of the project.

During the construction process, the Board's leaders regularly monitor, closely follow, and inspect the site to review the entire construction plan; require the contractor to arrange human resources and machinery appropriately to ensure the committed progress.

The delayed items must have a specific roadmap, increase shifts to ensure progress and quality of the project as well as labor safety and landscape of the project area.

The completion of the DT.310 overpass project not only brings great efficiency in helping to overcome traffic congestion and ensure traffic safety on the route, but also optimizes the flow of trade for people, minimizing time and transportation costs for businesses. From there, it opens up opportunities to promote socio-economic development for localities where the project passes through.
