Dam Rong launches Humanitarian Month 2025

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Hoan - Vice President of the Provincial Red Cross Society and Mr. Lieng Hot Ha Hai - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee awarded scholarships to students.

At the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong - Chairman of the Dam Rong District Red Cross Society said: This year's Humanitarian Month starts from May 1 - 31, peaking from May 8 (International Red Cross and Red Crescent Day) to May 19 (President Ho Chi Minh 's birthday) and is deployed throughout the district, with the target of striving during the Humanitarian Month for the entire Society system to assist 1,000 humanitarian addresses in difficult circumstances, support the elimination of temporary houses, dilapidated houses, and donate livelihood models... with a total value of 400 million VND.

Mr. Lieng Hot Ha Hai - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee awarded funding to support the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses for people.

In order for the Humanitarian Month to achieve high results, the District Red Cross Society hopes to receive the attention of Party committees at all levels, authorities, agencies, organizations, businesses, philanthropists and people from all walks of life to continue joining hands to help the poor, people in difficult circumstances, vulnerable people, contributing to the implementation of social security policies, being a bridge between the Party, the State and the People, contributing to building the humane and benevolent tradition of the nation.

Dalat Red Cross Society supports funding to build a house and donates 500 notebooks to Dam Rong district

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Lieng Hot Ha Hai - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee praised and highly appreciated the positive contributions of the Red Cross at all levels, organizations, individuals, philanthropists... in implementing major movements and campaigns in humanitarian work; at the same time, called on Party committees at all levels, authorities, agencies, units and local people to continue to join hands with the Red Cross to do a good job of mobilizing and assisting the poor, people in difficult circumstances, and vulnerable people, contributing to the good implementation of social security work in the locality.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong - Chairman of the District Red Cross Association presented funds to build a road with solar lights installed in Lieng Sronh commune.

At the launching ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 20 scholarships to students in difficult circumstances; supported the construction of 3 Red Cross houses to implement the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses; presented the charity group's solar-powered lighting system to Lieng Srong commune and presented a livelihood model to poor households in Dam Rong district.
