Evaluation of construction progress of Provincial General Hospital

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Viet Phuong chaired the meeting.

The project to build the Provincial General Hospital has a total area of ​​over 16 hectares with a total investment of 1,796 billion VND. The hospital has a scale of 1,000 beds, including all items according to the standards of a grade I provincial general hospital. The project started in December 2023 with the Department of Construction as the investor. To date, the project has disbursed over 762 billion VND, reaching 63.5% of the capital plan for the period 2021-2025. Since the beginning of 2025, the project has disbursed over 15 billion VND.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and raised some difficulties in the project implementation process such as: there is still a shortage of about 30,000m3 ^of fill soil to serve the project's site leveling construction; the geological layer in the pile driving construction area of ​​the outpatient, emergency and technical buildings is very complicated, there are Karst caves and weak geological phenomena, so when implementing mass pile driving construction, there are many difficulties, the construction has to be stopped continuously for relevant units to evaluate and propose solutions to handle the scene, so the construction progress has been affected...

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Viet Phuong requested contractors to focus on human resources, equipment and conditions to ensure the construction process; investors to strengthen coordination with relevant agencies and construction units to overcome difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process; strengthen inspection and urge contractors to ensure progress, quality, safety and environmental sanitation, striving to complete phase 1 in the fourth quarter of 2025.
