Working with the police, Mr. Trieu admitted to smashing the rearview mirror of Mr. D.MT's taxi (30 years old) on the evening of October 20 at the intersection of Nguyen Van Linh - Pham Hung.
The police also took Mr. TNMT and the taxi driver to reenact the incident scene.
On the side of District 1 Public Service Company Limited, the unit has decided to temporarily suspend Mr. TNMT from work for 15 days.
Previously, on the evening of October 20, Mr. D.MT was driving on Nguyen Van Linh Street from District 7 to District 8. When he reached the intersection of Nguyen Van Linh - Pham Hung, the garbage truck driver signaled to give way.
However, because the road was congested and flooded, Mr. T had to move slowly. A few minutes later, the garbage truck driver drove up and blocked Mr. T's car; at the same time, a man in the car holding a pipe got out to talk and then broke Mr. T's rearview mirror.
