Speed ​​up site clearance for the project of access roads to 3 bridges on Provincial Road 827E

To improve traffic connectivity capacity and serve socio-economic development, the province has approved the Project to build access roads to 3 bridges on Provincial Road 827E. The project was approved by the People's Council of Long An province (now Tay Ninh) in Resolution 42/NQ-HDND dated July 24, 2024, with a total investment of more than 3,000 billion VND, including two component projects: building access roads and site clearance.

The site clearance component project has a total investment of 1,607 billion VND, an area of ​​89.35 hectares through 6 communes: Can Giuoc, My Le, Can Duoc, Vam Co, Tan Tru and Tam Vu.

In particular, the Project of constructing the approach road was approved by the Provincial People's Committee under Decision No. 13939/QD-UBND dated December 31, 2024, with a total investment of VND 1,432,966 billion. The project implementation period is from 2025 to 2028, with a scale of 4 lanes, the transition section from the approach road to the bridge has 4-6 lanes, and there are service roads on both sides of the bridge. Recently, this project has started construction.

The site clearance component project has a total investment of 1,607 billion VND, an area of ​​89.35 hectares across 6 communes: Can Giuoc, My Le, Can Duoc, Vam Co, Tan Tru and Tam Vu. The capital plan for 2025 is 1,575.5 billion VND, of which more than 1,298 billion VND has been disbursed, reaching 82.39%.

To carry out site clearance, since the end of 2024, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board has signed a contract for land seizure with the localities. Currently, the branches of the Land Fund Development Center in Can Giuoc, Ben Luc, and Tan An are urgently implementing compensation payments to households in 6 communes.

Specifically, the Can Giuoc Regional Land Fund Development Center Branch operates in the communes of Can Giuoc, My Le and Can Duoc. The Ben Luc Regional Land Fund Development Center Branch operates in the communes of Vam Co and Tan Tru. The Tan An Regional Land Fund Development Center Branch operates in the commune of Tam Vu.

According to statistics, Can Giuoc commune has 276/316 households that have approved compensation plans, paying 84 households, reaching 30.43% of households; My Le commune has 125/134 households that have approved compensation plans, paying 34 households, reaching 27.2%; Can Duoc commune has 98/181 households that have approved plans, paying 39 households, reaching 39.8%; Tan Tru commune has 177/177 households that have approved plans, paying 173 households, reaching nearly 98%; Vam Co commune has 349/349 households that have approved plans, paying 312 households, reaching 89.4%; Tam Vu commune has 114/120 households that have received compensation, reaching 95%.

According to the Long An Construction Investment Project Management Board, there are still 155 cases with an area of ​​more than 2 hectares that have not yet had a plan, this is a bottleneck that needs to be resolved. The site clearance and investment in infrastructure construction of resettlement areas (invested by the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, taking over from the People's Committees of 4 old districts) is still slow.

To ensure the project's progress, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center is completing legal procedures, promoting investment in resettlement infrastructure, and ensuring timely resettlement arrangements. The Economic Zone Management Board will soon advise the Provincial People's Committee on overlapping locations with the Tan Kim Industrial Park project and Tan Kim resettlement. The Department of Agriculture and Environment will issue coordination regulations on compensation, support, and resettlement when the State reclaims land./.
