Proposal to handle TikToker who "slandered" women in Hue and Quang Tri

On September 15, the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City said it had sent a document to the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City requesting verification and handling of a male TikToker who spread offensive content, insulting women in Hue and Quang Tri.

TikToker channel owner posted a clip "bad-mouthing" women in Hue and Quang Tri .

According to the authorities, the owner of the TikTok account named TTĐ. (residing in Ho Chi Minh City), who owns a channel with more than 80,000 followers and 1.2 million views, posted a clip recording the scene of this person walking on Truong Tien Bridge ( Hue City), while walking and making derogatory statements, advising people "not to marry women from Hue and Quang Tri".

Notably, in the clip, this person also used many vulgar and offensive words, causing outrage in public opinion. After spreading on social networks, the clip received a series of criticisms, condemning the act of regional discrimination and insulting women's dignity.

The case is currently being verified and handled by the authorities according to the law.
