According to current regulations, the quota for cars serving general business activities of state-owned enterprises is stipulated in Article 13 of Decree No. 72/2023/ND-CP dated September 26, 2023 as follows:

For economic groups, maximum 2 cars/group.

Other state-owned enterprises maximum 1 vehicle/1 unit.

State-owned enterprises manage cars to arrange for specified subjects when going on business trips.

However, according to the new draft Decree of the Ministry of Finance, this provision has been removed.

According to the explanation of the Ministry of Finance, removing the car quota of state-owned enterprises allows enterprises to be proactive.

The draft Decree stipulates that cars used for general work and cars used for production and business activities of state-owned enterprises must comply with the provisions of the law on management and use of state capital invested in production and business at enterprises and related laws, and Article 13 is removed.
