QNgTV - The Ministry of Public Security has proposed developing VNeID into a super app, encouraging citizens to conduct transactions through it to receive a 10-100% reduction on 127 types of taxes and fees.

The draft proposes strong incentives for digital citizens when conducting administrative procedures online, according to three levels: 100% free, 50% reduced, and 10% reduced.

Accordingly, it is expected that 100% of fees and charges will be waived for 66 basic and essential administrative procedures when carried out online, such as: birth registration, death registration, marriage registration, residence registration; re-issuance of vehicle registration, license plates, vehicle documents, driver's licenses, re-issuance of identity cards, issuance of construction permits, etc.

The Ministry of Public Security has proposed a 50% reduction in fees and charges for 56 complex and high-value administrative procedures, such as acceptance testing and design approval for fire prevention and fighting systems (currently 500,000 VND); granting and renewing groundwater exploitation permits (currently 3-5 million VND)...

The drafting agency also proposed a 10% reduction in five types of registration fees and lump-sum taxes when transactions are conducted through the national identification application VNeID, including: personal income tax, registration tax on real estate transfers, vehicle registration tax, personal income tax on e-commerce business, and VAT on online purchases or cashless payments.
