Construction is about to begin on a 70 billion VND elderly care facility project targeting beneficiaries.

(Baohatinh.vn) - The project "Elderly Care and Nurturing Center for Social Welfare Beneficiaries in Ha Tinh Province" is funded by the Thien Tam Foundation - Vingroup Group with a total investment of 70 billion VND.

Following a proposal from the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province, in 2022, the Thien Tam Fund - Vingroup Group committed to sponsoring the project "Elderly Care and Nurturing Area for Social Welfare Beneficiaries in Ha Tinh Province" with a total investment of 70 billion VND.

To date, after a period of preparing the necessary documents, the project has completed the verification of the construction design and detailed project cost estimate; environmental registration; procedures for connecting to technical infrastructure; procedures for connecting to the electricity grid; fire safety design appraisal; construction permit; and has completed preparations for the groundbreaking ceremony. The project is expected to commence on the afternoon of December 19, 2025.

The project includes one three-story building and two two-story buildings.

The project is being built on the land of the Ha Tinh Center for the Care of War Veterans and Social Welfare, located on Dong Mon Street, Tran Phu Ward, and includes three buildings and auxiliary facilities.

The project includes a three-story building for housing and treating patients; two two-story high-quality care and treatment buildings; and supporting facilities such as a solar power system and equipment for living quarters and treatment rooms; internal roads and pathways, greenery, and environmental landscaping…

The project also includes a system of courtyards, internal roads, green spaces, etc.

The project's implementation not only demonstrates the deep concern of Ha Tinh province and the Thien Tam Foundation – Vingroup Group for social welfare work, but also contributes to gradually improving the system of facilities for caring for the elderly and social welfare beneficiaries in a modern, humane, and sustainable direction, meeting the requirements of development in the new era.
