Proposal to award the title of National Emulation Fighter to a police major general

Accordingly, on April 17, the Ministry of Public Security posted a request for public opinion on considering rewards for the following individuals:

Awarding the title of National Emulation Fighter to Major General Pham Van Son - Director of the Logistics Department, Ministry of Public Security.

Awarding the title of National Emulation Fighter to Colonel Nguyen Thai Binh - Deputy Director of the Logistics Department, Ministry of Public Security.

According to the Ministry of Public Security, in collecting opinions, the ministry bases on Article 46 of Decree No. 98/2023/ND-CP dated December 31, 2023 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Emulation and Commendation.

People's comments on the consideration of rewards for the above individuals should be sent to the email address: hoidapphapluat@mps.gov.vn within 10 days from the date of posting.

Major General Pham Van Son was born in 1967 in Yen Lac district, Vinh Phuc province. He is a Doctor of Law and a senior political theorist.

Before holding the position of Director of the Logistics Department, Ministry of Public Security, he held the following positions: Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Police, Deputy Director of Vinh Phuc Provincial Police.

Major General Son received the Second Class Military Exploit Medal; the First Class Glorious Soldier Medal... for his contributions to the police force.
