At the launch event, the organizing committee of Miss Vietnam affirmed that they will take strong action against beauty queens who advertise falsely, even proposing to strip them of their crowns.

On June 16, the organizing committee held a meeting to introduce the Miss Vietnam 2025 contest after being licensed by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ninh Thuan province on May 8, 2025.

Accordingly, the contest is for female Vietnamese citizens aged 18-27, living and working in Vietnam. In particular, contestants must have a certain love and understanding of the country's culture and identity. In addition, the organizers also emphasize foreign language skills, considering this a big plus, and accept contestants who have undergone cosmetic surgery.

Recently, public opinion has been quite indignant at the fact that celebrities, artists, beauty queens, and KOLs have been advertising falsely, which is not only a violation of the law but also causes many serious consequences for society. At the press conference, the organizing committee said that the beauty crowned Miss Vietnam will be forced to fulfill her responsibilities as a citizen.

Accordingly, the organizing committee emphasized that it will take strong action against beauty queens who advertise falsely when scandals arise. "Depending on the level of violation, the organizing committee will have a form of handling, and will even propose stripping the crown in some special cases," said the organizing committee representative.

Ms. Le Thi Tho - President of the 2025 Miss Vietnam National Pageant shared that the contest will not only focus on performance competitions but will also incorporate practical experience activities and community projects associated with promoting Vietnamese culture and heritage in general and Ninh Thuan in particular. Miss Vietnam National Pageant will take place from August 15, with the final night taking place on August 23 in Phan Rang City (Ninh Thuan Province).
