The information was shared by Mr. Tran Thanh Hoai - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province - at the Dalat Spring Concert press conference held on the afternoon of December 13 in Hanoi .
The event was directed by Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee; organized by Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism , Da Lat City People's Committee, Lam Dong Cultural and Arts Center and IB Group Vietnam.
As part of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival, the concert will take place on the evening of December 21 at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat City, with the participation of Boney M Liz Mitchell, Joy and Samantha Fox, music legends associated with many immortal songs in the 1960s and 1970s.

Mr. Nguyen Thuy Duong, representative of IB Group Vietnam, shared that compared to the concerts of legends Modern Talking, Kenny G, Bond quartet... that IB Group brought to Vietnam, most of which were performed indoors, Dalat Spring Concert was performed outdoors.

Ms. Tran Thi Vu Loan - Vice Chairman of Da Lat City People's Committee - added that the square can accommodate from 15,000 to 20,000 spectators.
"Just by playing music, the number of tourists on weekend nights is also very large. The event is organized for locals and international tourists," she said.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thuy Duong, Dalat Spring Concert will be organized according to international standards.
The organizers have prepared three independent sound systems that meet the artists' requirements, as well as six mixers to operate the entire sound system, creating the most realistic sound quality.
"A Boney M member requested a keyboard that was made more than 20 years ago. It took us 3-4 weeks to find it today because only it can produce disco music," Mr. Duong added.

Mr. Tran Thanh Hoai said: " Dalat Spring Concert is expected to be held annually to spread the image of Da Lat as a creative city in the field of music recognized by UNESCO and towards building Da Lat as a world-class music destination."
At the same time, "concretize Da Lat's commitment to joining the UNESCO network of creative cities in the field of music".
Ms. Loan believes that Dalat Spring Concert will be the beginning of special art events held annually at international level in Dalat.
This is an opportunity to realize the goal of making Dalat a destination for world music peaks.
"For the first time, international artists came to Da Lat with songs that touched people's hearts from the 70s and 80s, but the organizers did not sell tickets. Anyone can come here and listen to music.
This is Da Lat's gratitude to the people and tourists, creating conditions for artists with international brands to come to Da Lat, connecting performance spaces with international standards and quality," she said.
Founded in 1976 in Germany with four members, Boney M's music is loved by many generations of Vietnamese people thanks to its cheerful and vibrant disco melodies. Despite many changes in members, Boney M is still one of the legendary music groups in the world.
Liz Mitchell, the frontwoman of Boney M, has performed in Vietnam in 2016 and 2019. This time, audiences will have the opportunity to hear her sing hits Daddy cool, Rivers of Babylon and many classic Christmas songs.
