Duy Tan University signed a cooperation agreement with Da Nang Hospital on training and scientific research.

This is an important milestone for a new step in the close relationship between the two units, opening up many opportunities for extensive cooperation in training, research, medical examination and treatment, and especially improving the quality of medical human resources to serve the cause of training and community health care.

Dr. Le Duc Nhan - Director of Da Nang Hospital shared: “ Da Nang Hospital is the final general hospital of the Central Highlands region with nearly 80 years of development. From a general surgery unit, it has now become a complete general hospital with 53 departments, more than 2,400 medical staff with all specialties. As a general hospital of the city, Da Nang Hospital truly meets all the conditions to be a hospital for clinical practice and clinical research for the entire South Central region.

Witnessing the remarkable development of Duy Tan University over the past 30 years, and having the opportunity to directly verify the capacity of generations of Duy Tan students when practicing at the hospital, has helped us have more confidence in today's signing. The cooperation between Da Nang Hospital and Duy Tan University is not only an important milestone but also reminds us that we need to have more practical activities and connect more with each other so that generations of students in the Health Sciences sector will build the best mindset and luggage for future health care work for the community. I believe that this is not simply a signing of a document but a commitment of the two units to work together to improve the quality of training and clinical practice. Da Nang Hospital will create the best conditions for Duy Tan University students to practice, intern, gain practical experience, and learn from a team of highly specialized doctors and nurses, while also having the opportunity to coordinate scientific research and professional development activities for the common progress of both units ."

With a scale of 2,000 beds, Da Nang Hospital is examining, treating and providing health care for a large number of patients not only in Da Nang but also in many other provinces. Patients have great trust in the hospital because it has successfully performed many difficult techniques to examine, treat and save patients such as: kidney transplant, minimally invasive heart surgery, valve repair, valve replacement, heart defect repair, stem cell transplant to treat bone marrow pain, etc.

The two units have long worked together towards the goal of improving the quality of medical human resources serving the community.

Duy Tan University cooperates with Da Nang Hospital to jointly implement key cooperation activities such as:

- Organize an annual international conference on Medical specialties and Medical Education with the participation of prestigious professors, doctors and medical experts at home and abroad;

- Cooperate in using each other's facilities and offices for theoretical and clinical research activities;

- Support students in internships, practice and job opportunities;

- Building an international scientific research journal in specialized medical fields with the goal of being listed in Scopus or ISI after 4 to 5 years;

- Cooperation in improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, including:

o Coordinate the organization of training programs and professional training for medical staff of Da Nang Hospital;

o Research and develop new techniques and treatment methods;

o Sharing experience and expertise in hospital management and improving the quality of medical services.
