The Ministry of Health said that the number of COVID-19 cases is increasing again. At the same time, the long April 30 and May 1 holidays, the large number of people traveling, and foreign tourists coming to Vietnam may also increase the number of COVID-19 cases, so after the holidays, epidemic prevention and control work needs to be strengthened and controlled more closely.
The Ministry of Health requires the Pasteur Institutes and Regional Institutes of Hygiene and Epidemiology to closely coordinate with assigned provinces and cities to strengthen monitoring and evaluate additional hospitalizations and severe cases. Localities need to publicize and update COVID-19 vaccination locations for easy access by the public.
