Cau Giay Secondary School (Cau Giay District, Hanoi ) has just shared information about the results of the public 10th grade entrance exam.

Accordingly, the average admission score that students of this school achieved was 43.18.

Specifically, the average score in math is 8.78; the average score in literature is 8.19; the average score in English is 9.24.

43.18 is a score higher than the admission standard score for grade 10 in 2023 of most public high schools in Hanoi, except for Chu Van An High School (44.5) and Kim Kien High School (43.25).

By class, class 9A6 has the highest average admission score with 43.61. Next is class 9A4 with 43.44 and class 9A1 with 43.45. The two dual degree classes have the lowest average admission scores with 42.27 and 42.18.

Previously, in the entrance exam to specialized universities, students of Cau Giay Secondary School also achieved very high results.

The school has 246 students passing the specialized exam, including: 109 students passing the Pedagogy exam, 65 students passing the Natural Science exam, 16 students passing the Social Science and Humanities exam, and 56 students passing the Foreign Language exam.

For the Pedagogy major entrance exam, the school has 4/8 valedictorians: Quan Minh Hong Anh - valedictorian of geography major, Nguyen Mai Phuong - valedictorian of literature major, Nguyen Khanh Phuong and Dang Hoang Linh - valedictorians of chemistry major.

In Hanoi's 2024 10th grade exam, 117,361 candidates registered to take the public 10th grade exam. Of these, about 106,000 candidates registered their first choice for non-specialized 10th grade.

Hanoi's public 10th grade quota this year is approximately 81,000, an increase of about 4,000 compared to 2023. Thus, there will be about 25,000 candidates who fail the public exam.
