Currently, Tien Hai Electricity has 87,730 customers using electricity. From the beginning of the year to the end of May 2025, the total commercial electricity output in the district reached more than 181 million kWh, an increase of more than 12% over the same period in 2024. According to Mr. Truong Hung Cuong, Director of Tien Hai Electricity: The forecast of hot weather in 2025 is equivalent to the average of many years, the demand for electricity will increase. In order to provide stable electricity for the daily life and production needs of people and businesses, right before the hot season, the unit has proactively deployed many synchronous solutions, especially strengthening the inspection, detection and timely handling of defects in the power grid system.

Tien Hai Power Company has implemented repairs and upgrades to prevent overloading of medium and low voltage power grids, including 12 stations and lines; repairing major projects in 2025 including: 0.4kV line after Dong Long and Nam Hong commune transformer stations, line 371E11.9 and Bat Cap branch of line 374E11.9... In addition, the unit handles defects in 400V lines, balances the power grid phase, and checks low voltage capacitor banks. Tien Hai Power Company regularly coordinates with construction units to speed up the progress of major repair projects to prevent overloading of the power grid in the area to put it into operation soon.

With the characteristic of a district with many industrial zones and clusters where many businesses are operating, the demand for electricity for industrial production is very large. According to business data of Tien Hai Electricity, electricity output for industrial production has increased continuously in recent years. In the first 5 months of 2025 alone, the electricity output supplied for industrial production accounted for more than 62% of the total electricity consumption in the whole district, an increase of more than 10% over the same period in 2024. Tien Hai Electricity creates maximum conditions to meet the electricity needs of businesses. However, to ensure a stable supply of electricity for customers during the hot season of 2025, the unit has developed a plan to implement the electricity load adjustment program. Mr. Truong Hung Cuong added: The unit has signed agreements with 33 businesses with electricity consumption of 1 million kWh/year or more and participating in the electricity load adjustment program. Coordinating with businesses participating in the load adjustment program and saving electricity during peak hours is one of the optimal solutions to reduce pressure on power supply, contributing to limiting risks of unsafety to the power system.

Although consuming a large amount of electricity, Tien Hai Electricity always provides a stable power source, thereby helping the factory to operate regularly, continuously, without electrical problems. In the summer months when the demand for electricity is high, the Company has signed an agreement with Tien Hai Electricity to participate in the electricity load adjustment program. We will reduce the committed power consumption capacity when required by the electricity industry.
