According to statistics from Hai Duong Electricity One Member Co., Ltd., on June 1 and 2, the amount of electricity consumed in the province reached more than 45 million kWh, an increase of about 10% over the same period in 2024. Specifically, on June 1, electricity consumption reached more than 20.8 million kWh; on June 2, it is expected to reach more than 24.2 million kWh, an increase of 1 - 3 million kWh compared to normal days.

Implementing Directive No. 20/CT-TTg dated June 8, 2023 of the Prime Minister , Hai Duong Electricity Company recommends that customers use electricity economically and efficiently, turn off unnecessary electrical equipment; limit the use of high-power consuming devices during peak hours (including hours from 12:00 to 15:00 and from 22:00 to midnight every day). In particular, pay special attention to the reasonable use of air conditioning, only turn on the air conditioner when really necessary, and set the temperature at 26 degrees Celsius or higher.
