Actor Trung Dung is a name associated with many hit TV series such as Gao nep gao te, Dinh menh trung phung ,... In 2023, he continued to make a strong impression on the audience when he took on the role of Khanh in the movie Lat mat 6: Tat ve dinh menh by director Ly Hai .
In Lat mat 6: The fateful ticket , Khanh is a character with a heavy psychological burden, mysterious and haunting for viewers. The scene that gave the audience "goosebumps" by Trung Dung was when he sat in a motel chewing on a glass cup, causing his mouth to bleed.
An audience member commented after watching Lat mat 6 : "Trung Dung's role can be said to be the most psychological but also reflects reality the most. Very pragmatic, handling situations quickly. If you work, you will get food, if you don't work well, you will get less. If you are not honest, you will not have a penny. I like this character the most. Everyone used to be a good person until their ego arose."
Recently, sharing in the program "Confession" , Trung Dung said that he did not think he would participate in taking on a role in "Flip Side" . Because Ly Hai's films are often about action or comedy. However, in contrast to that, actor Trung Dung often acts in drama films, so he thinks that he cannot act in Ly Hai's films and is not the actor that this director needs.
But in the part of Lat mat 6: The ticket of destiny , Ly Hai switched to the psychological and intellectual genre, so the actor was chosen to play the role of Khanh - a hot-tempered, straightforward and pragmatic member of the group of friends. He often made decisions about who to keep and who to remove from the list to share the jackpot of 136.8 billion. In this film, Trung Dung was evaluated by the audience as playing the right role, true to his nature and making a strong impression on them.
The actor added that before that, when he participated in the hit TV series Gao Nep Gao Te , he was surprised when someone asked: "Does it hurt when people think you're out of date?"
For Trung Dung, acting has no age limit. He confided: "Each person at each age has their own value. It cannot be said that actors are out of date, just because they do not act in films, but when they appear, their aura is still there and still brings good value."
This is what makes Trung Dung always proud of his life experience, acting career as well as what he has contributed to the profession.

Sharing his professional views, Trung Dung said that he always reminds himself to be good to be trusted and chosen by directors. He also chooses to work seriously and wholeheartedly. "When I go to the set, I am like a different person. People are preparing for a new scene, but I still sit there calmly to concentrate on working. For me, when I stand in front of the camera, I have to be really serious," the 7X actor shared.
According to Trung Dung, that meticulousness comes from his love for the profession. He told the story of when he played a small role in Nu Chu , the actor was gaining weight to prepare for another project. Because of that, when appearing on screen, Trung Dung's appearance was somewhat rounder, to the point that he did not dare to watch the movie.
He also always knows how to "juggle" with his co-stars and lean on them so that both can play their roles in the best way. In the movie "Broken Rice, Whole Rice", Trung Dung co-starred with actress Thuy Ngan. He shared: "When acting with Thuy Ngan, Thuy Ngan speaks in a windy voice, so I always speak in a low, deep tone. You have to understand your co-stars, understand yourself, have to weigh things up, give in to your co-stars, not just each person acting on their own."
Sharing about his current private life, Trung Dung said he is satisfied because he believes "it's all fate".
"For example, if you give me 10 dollars and make me work from morning to night, I will only take 5 dollars to have time to go to the gym, go to the supermarket to buy food, watch a movie at night and go to bed to go to work tomorrow. My life is like that, sometimes there are crazy people like that. I like to live in a mansion, drive a supercar, but in exchange for my job, if I had nothing left, I would still choose this job," the actor confided.
Trung Dung said that when he was 30-35 years old, he, like many people in the profession, also wanted to be famous and make a lot of money. But when he turned 40, Trung Dung considered everything to be fate.
"My colleagues like Chi Bao, Cao Minh Dat... became famous after acting in one film. Although the three of us played together, I also acted in films like my friends, but I had to take a detour. I realized that it was all fate. My ancestors gave me a moderate amount of luck so that I could live a life without hardship, but in return I had to accept that," he said.
Trung Dung shared that there was a time when he blamed himself for not quitting his job to live abroad, but everything "went back to normal". In return, after a period of working in the arts, Trung Dung was happy because he made his family proud, while improving his life experience and acting skills.
During the show, the actor also revealed that he had his first heartbreak at the age of 45, surprising the MC. "I wondered if I had a heart condition. I told myself that heartbreak doesn't kill you, but why does it hurt so much? I never want to feel that way again. Then, they came back and it ended happily. I still forgave them because the important thing is that they came back," he recounted.
These experiences have given him many new and emotional things in his acting. Thanks to that, he is loved by the audience and brings tears to their eyes.
