Seven flower cars decorated with dragons and lotus flowers, with a statue of Bodhisattva Guanyin on top, paraded through many main streets of Da Nang on the evening of March 25.
After 6:00 p.m., the convoy departed from the Ngu Hanh Son relic and scenic area, traveling on Le Van Hien, Ngu Hanh Son, Ngo Quyen, and Dragon Bridge avenues, then circled down to Bach Dang along the Han River and many central streets of Da Nang.
Leading the way is a car decorated with a dragon mascot, followed by cars shaped like peacocks, lotuses... The flower cars introduce the Quan The Am Festival (February 19th of the lunar calendar) and celebrate the 49th anniversary of Da Nang Liberation Day (March 29th).

The organizers of the Quan The Am festival said that the floats will parade for 4 days, from March 25 to 28 (16-19 lunar calendar), from 6pm to 8:30pm. Each day, the floats will move on a different schedule for locals and tourists to enjoy.
When moving on the road, the vehicles do not use lighting equipment or high-power speakers to avoid affecting traffic safety and order. The parade is led by two traffic police vehicles.

Despite complying with safety and fire prevention regulations, an incident still occurred on the first night of the parade. The last float in the procession caught fire while traveling on Phan Chau Trinh Street (Hai Chau District). The initial cause was reported to be an electrical short circuit.
The biggest Quan The Am festival in Da Nang is held annually. The festival not only meets the worshiping needs of Buddhists but has also become a typical tourism product of Ngu Hanh Son scenic tourist area.
