(Baohatinh.vn) - The Standing Committee of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee emphasized that it is necessary to identify sustainable poverty reduction as an important, regular, and long-term political task of the entire political system and society.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Linh has just signed and issued a document on promoting the emulation movement "For the poor - leaving no one behind" and the peak month "For the poor" in 2025.

Ha Tinh Newspaper coordinated with Petrolimex Ha Tinh Company Limited and representatives of local authorities and sponsors to start construction of a charity house for Ms. Tu Thi Tha's family in Bac Son Hai village, Hai Ninh ward, Ha Tinh province.

Implementing the Party and State's policies and guidelines on sustainable poverty reduction by 2030, in recent times, Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Fronts , departments, branches, and organizations at all levels have focused on leading, directing, and coordinating the organization of many practical and meaningful activities that have spread widely among cadres, party members, union members, association members, business communities, and people of all walks of life, contributing to the effective implementation of social security policies and poverty reduction goals of the province. By the end of 2024, the poverty rate in the whole province will decrease to 2.4%, and the near-poor rate will decrease to 3.04%.

To continue effectively implementing the emulation movement "For the poor - leaving no one behind" for the period 2021 - 2025 launched by the Prime Minister , the Provincial Party Standing Committee requested Party committees, authorities at all levels, the Fatherland Front and departments, branches, sectors and organizations to focus on performing well the related tasks.

Specifically, strengthen leadership and direction in implementing the Emulation Movement "For the poor - leaving no one behind", Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated June 23, 2021 of the Central Party Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership in sustainable poverty reduction by 2030; Plan No. 45-KH/TU dated September 24, 2021 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Central Party Secretariat; identifying sustainable poverty reduction as an important, regular, long-term political task of the entire political system and society.

Direct the organization of a peak period to mobilize agencies, units, businesses, organizations and individuals to actively support the "For the Poor" Fund in 2025; implement programs to support housing construction, economic development, social security, mobilize resources from the whole society to care for and help the poor and people in difficult circumstances, especially households affected by storms. Pay attention to supporting poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households to access preferential loans, information, transfer of science, technology, livelihoods and create conditions for economic development, increase income, and escape poverty sustainably.

The Provincial People's Committee Party Committee coordinates with the Provincial Fatherland Front Party Committee and provincial-level socio-political organizations to lead and direct the effective implementation of the emulation movement "For the poor - leaving no one behind" for the period 2021 - 2025 and the activities of the Peak Month "For the poor" in 2025. Directs departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of communes and wards to focus on effectively implementing the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction; mobilizes agencies, organizations, businesses and people of all walks of life to promote the spirit of "mutual love and affection", "helping each other", and supporting the "For the poor" Fund at all levels. Strengthen coordination between agencies and units in the process of mobilization and support to avoid overlap, ensure publicity, transparency, and support for the right subjects.

The Provincial Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front directs and guides the Fatherland Fronts of communes, wards and member organizations to develop plans and coordinate the effective organization of emulation movements and activities during the "For the Poor" peak month; coordinate with relevant sectors and units to launch fundraising and support, especially to support the poor to overcome the consequences of the storm. Organize the reception, management and use of the "For the Poor" Fund to ensure compliance with regulations, timely and effectively.

Party committees, authorities at all levels, agencies, units, enterprises, and armed forces in the whole province strengthen propaganda and mobilize cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, enterprises, philanthropists, and Ha Tinh people inside and outside the province to join hands to help the poor and people in difficult circumstances; actively respond and support the "For the Poor" Fund with the highest spirit.

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department directs and guides Ha Tinh Newspaper and media agencies to promote the propaganda of the purpose, meaning, and content of the "For the Poor" Peak Month and the results of the mobilization to support the "For the Poor" Fund; promptly propagate and commend outstanding collectives and individuals in the mobilization and support work.

The Party Committees of the Provincial Party agencies and the Provincial People's Committee directed the Party Committees, Party cells of agencies, units, enterprises, and production and business establishments to actively participate in supporting the "For the Poor" Fund.

The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee presides over and coordinates with relevant agencies and units to monitor and urge the implementation of the above contents, and periodically reports monthly to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee (through the Provincial Party Committee Office).
