US President-elect Donald Trump often performed a familiar dance to the song YMCA during his campaign. After winning the presidential election, his hand-to-hand dance became a craze not only on social media, but also performed by athletes when celebrating their victory. On November 18, US soccer player Christian Pulisic became the latest person to perform Mr. Trump's dance, when he scored the opening goal in the US team's 4-2 victory over Jamaica. The dance has also spread to the National Football League (NFL), a top-ranked sport in the country, with San Francisco 49ers player Nick Bosa becoming one of the first NFL players to perform the Trump-style celebration after winning on November 10. "All my teammates wanted me to do it. I wasn't even going to do it, but they reminded me, and it was fun," Bosa told the San Francisco Chronicle . Another NFL player, Las Vegas Raiders player Brock Bowers, also performed the US president-elect's signature dance, saying he "imitated" UFC fighter Jon Jones.
