Investigation and verification of criminal fraud organization in Cambodia

Lai Chau Provincial Police coordinated with the Criminal Police Department (Ministry of Public Security), the Representative Office of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam in Cambodia and Cambodian functional forces to successfully dismantle the case, arresting 59 people, all of whom are Vietnamese, in the Kingdom of Cambodia.

After a long time of applying professional measures and collecting documents and evidence to fight Project 0525L, Lai Chau Provincial Police coordinated with the Criminal Police Department ( Ministry of Public Security ), the Representative Office of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam in Cambodia and Cambodian functional forces to successfully destroy the Project, arresting 59 people, all of whom are Vietnamese, in Tuek Chhou Ward, Bokor City, Kampot Province, Kingdom of Cambodia. At the same time, expanding the project, the functional forces summoned a number of related subjects and transferred them to Lai Chau Provincial Police to serve the investigation and verification.

The leader of the transnational fraud ring is Sung Thi Mai (commonly known as Vi), 26 years old, residing in Mom Dao village, Bao Thang commune, Lao Cai province. Sung Thi Mai and all the key subjects, who played leadership roles in the important "henchmen" members of the criminal ring were all arrested.
