Through direct examination, testing and online consultation with Military Hospital 175 (Ho Chi Minh City), military doctors diagnosed Mr. Nhanh with acute appendicitis at the 21st hour, with a risk of peritonitis complications, so they immediately administered intravenous fluids, used antibiotics and performed surgery to remove the patient's appendix.

The Navy Region 4 Command said: The timely rescue of fisherman Tran Cong Nhanh and many other fishermen is a clear demonstration of the sense of responsibility, medical ethics and solid professional capacity of the military medical force on Truong Sa island.
In conditions far from the mainland, lacking in material resources and harsh climate, medical officers and soldiers are always ready to be on duty, promptly treating fishermen and people at sea, demonstrating the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers - Navy medical soldiers" at the forefront.
This is not only a simple military medical mission but also a practical action that contributes to maintaining people's trust, affirming national sovereignty and the role of the Fatherland's outpost in the East Sea./.
