10th grade male student suspended for brutally beating his friend in the classroom

Regarding the incident of a male student continuously beating and cursing his friend in the classroom, Hoang Dieu High School has just sent a document to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.

According to the report, after the end of the first period, during the 15-minute break on September 12, student NVTH beat student NMĐ. When the second period started, the homeroom teacher learned about the incident and understood that the reason was because student NMĐ took a photo of NVTH and sent it to the homeroom teacher.

After the incident, the school asked NVTH student to write a report of the incident, a self-criticism, and a commitment not to let the beating happen again.

The parents of the two students were also invited to the meeting. At the meeting, the student who beat his friend apologized to his friend and family.

However, at around 4pm on September 13, a clip appeared on social media about a fight in class and the person filming was a TMN student, a student of class 10A1. In response to the above incident, the Board of Directors and the homeroom teacher urgently met and analyzed to see the seriousness of the incident.

The school asked students to record a video report on the incident, and organized a meeting with the families of the students involved and representatives of Bach Mai Ward Police and Hai Ba Trung District Security Department.

For now, the school's Board of Directors has temporarily suspended student NVTH (the person who beat his friend) and student TMN (the person who filmed the clip) for 3 days to reflect on their wrongdoings, which have affected the school's reputation and left a bad image for students in the capital.

These students will continue to wait for the school's Disciplinary Council to meet and decide on specific disciplinary action for each student's violations.

Previously, as reported by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper , on September 13, social networks circulated two videos recording a scene of a male student being repeatedly punched and beaten in the face and body by his friends, accompanied by curses.

This male student also went to the next table, grabbed his school bag and threw it hard at his friend, while the male student who was beaten did not fight back but only endured each beating.

The clip was posted and made the public very angry, leaving many comments. Most opinions said that those who committed this violent act should be severely punished. Why is this kind of violence allowed to happen right in the school? The school board needs to severely punish to set an example. Some people asked what is the indifference of today's youth, while you are being beaten, there are people cheering?..
