Djokovic is the second seed at the 2025 Geneva Open (starting on May 19), he has a first-round bye and will face Zizou Bergs or Marton Fucsovics in the second round. If he reaches the quarterfinals, Nole could face Matteo Arnaldi, who beat him 6-3, 6-4 at the Madrid Open in April.

Last year, Djokovic reached the semi-finals of the Geneva Open, losing to Tomas Machac. The Czech is the third seed in this year's tournament and could face Nole again if they both reach the semi-finals.

Geneva Open 2025 top seed Taylor Fritz will face either Jaume Munar or Quentin Halys in the second round. His next potential opponents are Hubert Hurkacz (quarter-final) and Karen Khachanov (semi-final).

In addition to the Geneva Open 2025, the ATP 500 clay court Hamburg Open 2025, which starts in Germany on May 19, is also receiving special attention. The brightest star of this tournament is Alexander Zverev, who was recently eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Italian Open 2025.

The German won the Hamburg Open in 2023 and finished runner-up last year. Zverev's rivals for the title this year include Frances Tiafoe, Andrey Rublev and Francisco Cerundolo.

Jannik Sinner has decided to skip the Hamburg Open 2025 to focus on Roland Garros, which starts on May 25. Many stars such as Lorenzo Musetti, Holger Rune, Tommy Paul, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Sebastian Korda and Ugo Humbert have also refused to participate in the tournament in Germany.
