Do Quang Tuyen - a contestant in Mister Vietnam 2024 - has been selected to compete in Mister Supranational 2024.
Recently, representatives of the organizing unit of the Mister Vietnam competition, which also holds the rights to many leading male and female beauty pageants worldwide , announced the appointment of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung (Tung Jin) as the National Director of the Mister Supranational 2024 competition – one of the five largest male beauty pageants on the planet.
At the same time, Do Quang Tuyen – a contestant in Mister Vietnam 2024 – was officially announced as Vietnam's representative to participate in Mister Supranational 2024, which will be held in Poland.

Speaking to Dan Viet , training expert Phuc Nguyen, Chairman of the Mister Vietnam competition, said that after a search and testing process, the Mister Vietnam organizing committee decided to choose Do Quang Tuyen to participate in Mr. Supranational 2024 despite him not having won any awards. "First of all, because Mr. Supranational 2024, like many current male and female beauty pageants, is implementing new criteria, not strictly requiring contestants to have domestic awards. And because Do Quang Tuyen is one of the candidates who is capable and very diligent in training, dynamic in life, and compassionate, we agreed with the nomination of National Director Tung Jin," Mr. Phuc Nguyen explained regarding the selection of Do Quang Tuyen to participate in the Mr. Supranational 2024 competition.
Regarding predictions for Do Quang Tuyen's outcome at the Mister Supranational 2024 competition, the President of Mister Vietnam stated: "After participating in the Mister Supranational 2024 competition, regardless of the result, Do Quang Tuyen will continue his journey in Mister Vietnam 2024. In Mister Vietnam 2024, we offer many opportunities for contestants to test their abilities and prove themselves throughout the competition, without having to wait until they win a final award."
Who is Do Quang Tuyen - Vietnam's representative at Mister Supranational 2024?
Do Quang Tuyen, born in 2000, hails from Nam Dinh province . He is 1.85m tall, weighs 80kg, and has ideal measurements of 103-81-101cm. He is currently a contestant in the Mister Vietnam 2024 competition. Recently, Do Quang Tuyen was also one of five models selected to showcase collections by ASEAN designers at the first ASEAN International Fashion Week held in Singapore.
After going through several rigorous selection rounds, becoming Vietnam's representative at Mister Supranational 2024 was not entirely unexpected, but it was nonetheless stressful and pressure-filled for Do Quang Tuyen.
The young man, born in 2000, yearns for artistic pursuits and is passionate about acting in front of the camera. It is known that due to numerous life difficulties, Tuyển was forced to temporarily suspend his studies at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Theatre and Film at the end of his third year – a time when the Covid-19 pandemic was unfolding in a complex manner.
Nevertheless, Do Quang Tuyen remains determined to pursue his passion by diligently working in the profession, taking on small roles in television dramas, performing in fashion shows, etc. Currently, Tuyen is participating in the play "The Delicious King" at the Youth World Theatre. Not content with just being an actor, Do Quang Tuyen always aspires to expand his artistic activities to explore all his potential, so he has persistently trained his physique and knowledge for a long time to participate in Mister Vietnam 2024, seeking new opportunities in his career and fulfilling his dream of accessing the global art and entertainment industry.

"I believe that the most meaningful journey is the one within each of us, so listen to yourself, set clear goals, and complete them to the fullest. I also realize that youth allows us to fail and gives us another chance to try again. And this competition will be proof of my determination and relentless efforts," Do Quang Tuyen expressed.
With hard work and perseverance, Do Quang Tuyen has reaped the first rewards in his journey to register for the male beauty pageant. Currently, Quang Tuyen is in the Top 60 of the Mister Vietnam 2024 competition. During the Runway Star challenge at Mister Vietnam 2024 in front of over 22,000 spectators, Quang Tuyen confidently showcased unique designs from Vietnamese brands and was one of the five contestants who caught the eye of the organizers of the ASEAN International Fashion Week. Do Quang Tuyen, along with the other Top 5 contestants, recently participated in the ASEAN International Fashion Week as representatives of the new generation of male models, serving as Model Ambassadors.
"Although the Mister Vietnam 2024 competition hasn't reached its finals yet, I've already been given the opportunity to participate in the ASEAN International Fashion Week in Singapore, and now I'm representing Vietnam at the Mister Supranational competition. Honestly, I'm very happy but also a little nervous. Happy because I've tried my best and the organizers have recognized my achievement. Nervous because I've been given a great responsibility and high expectations, and I don't know if I can perform to my full potential on the international stage. Nevertheless, I will strive tirelessly, from physical training and catwalk skills to improving my knowledge… I hope to showcase the beauty of Vietnamese culture and national identity, as well as the physique, confidence, and intelligence of Vietnamese men to international friends," Do Quang Tuyen expressed.
The Mister Supranational 2024 competition will be held in the Netherlands, with the final scheduled for July 4th, 2024. It is known that Do Quang Tuyen will officially depart to participate in this competition on June 21st.
