Delegation of Asan City Council of Korea visited and worked in Ninh Binh province

At the reception, Mr. Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, welcomed Mr. Meang Ui Suk and the delegation of the Asan City Council to visit and work in Ninh Binh. At the same time, he briefly introduced the natural features, potentials, strengths and socio -economic development situation of the province.

Delegation of Asan City Council of Korea visited and worked in Ninh Binh province — Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Mai Van Tuat spoke at the reception.

It emphasizes: Ninh Binh is a land of outstanding people, the birthplace of three dynasties: Dinh Dynasty, Tien Le Dynasty and Ly Dynasty; has the historic Hoa Lu Ancient Capital associated with Dai Co Viet State - the first centralized feudal state in Vietnam. Ninh Binh is also a locality that converges many famous landscapes in the country and the world .

In particular, with many outstanding global values in culture, history, geology and geomorphology, Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage. This is the first mixed heritage of Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

Promoting the potential and strengths of the province, in recent years, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Ninh Binh province have focused on leading and directing the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals to build the province to develop rapidly and sustainably. In particular, the average growth rate from 2020-2023 reached 7.34%. The budget revenue of the following year is always higher than the previous year, reaching 24,300 billion VND by 2022, ranking 15th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide and has balanced its own budget, with regulation to the Central Government.

Ninh Binh has directed the completion of the new rural construction program. Currently, the province has 2 cities recognized for completing the task of building new rural areas and 6 districts recognized as new rural districts. Striving to be recognized by the Government as a new rural province by 2024. Other aspects of work such as: Culture, health, education, poverty reduction... have also achieved very encouraging results.

Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, was also pleased to inform the Working Group about the outstanding results of the Provincial People's Council and its committees in the past time. Accordingly, the Provincial People's Council has focused on directing the improvement of the quality of programs, plans, and activities, especially improving the quality of the meetings and sessions of the Provincial People's Council, innovating the work of meeting voters, and the questioning sessions at the sessions of the Provincial People's Council.

He highly appreciated the working program of the Asan City Council Delegation in Ninh Binh Province, affirming that this was a valuable opportunity for the delegation to exchange with the Standing Committee of the People's Council and the Committees of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Council about the experience of elected representatives. Thereby, contributing to further tightening the cooperative relationship for mutual development between Ninh Binh Province and Asan City, between Vietnam and Korea.

Expressing his sincere gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality of the Provincial People's Council leaders, Mr. Meang Ui Suk, Member of the Asan City Council, congratulated the important achievements that Ninh Binh has achieved in the past time. At the same time, he affirmed that this visit was a great opportunity for the members of the working delegation to learn more about the historical value, natural landscape, beauty of the land and people of Ninh Binh; as well as to exchange operational experiences between the Asan City Council and the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Council.

Mr. Meang Ui Suk, Member of Asan City Council, also expressed his belief that with its long history and many potentials and strengths, Ninh Binh province will develop further. He also hopes that in the future, the two provinces will promote more exchange and cooperation activities for mutual development. Thereby, contributing to promoting the cooperative relationship between the two localities, expanding diplomatic relations for the development of the two countries Vietnam - Korea.

On this occasion, the two sides presented gifts representing the culture of Ninh Binh and Asan city with the hope that the solidarity and friendship between the two localities will become increasingly stronger.

* Within the framework of the working program in Ninh Binh, on the morning of September 12, the Asan City Council Delegation had a working session with the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council on issues related to policies in a number of areas of interest to both sides.

Working with the delegation were comrade Nguyen Hoang Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Provincial People's Council Committees, Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council, Office of the Provincial People's Committee, Department of Tourism, Department of Culture and Sports, Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.

At the meeting, the two sides briefly informed and shared experiences in implementing policies related to labor export activities, especially the policy of sending seasonal workers to work in Korea; policies to promote the development of cultural and social activities; policies on tourism development; issues of traffic development, women protection, etc.

In addition, the delegates of the two sides discussed a number of contents for cooperation in various fields. Accordingly, the Asan City Council will support connections for Ninh Binh to create tours for Korean tourists to visit famous tourist areas and spots in the province; support in developing cultural and sports activities, etc.

Asan City and Ninh Binh Province continue to develop programs and events to promote culture and create favorable conditions to attract investment projects in Asan City and Ninh Binh Province. Cooperate in the fields of training, human resource development, employment, scientific research cooperation, etc.

At the end of the working session, Comrade Nguyen Hoang Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, sincerely thanked the members of the Asan City Council Delegation for their discussions and sharing on the goals and solutions for developing various fields, especially tourism, culture, employment, etc. He hoped that after the Delegation's visit and work, Ninh Binh province would welcome many Korean tourist groups to visit tourist areas and spots.

At the same time, we hope that in the coming time, Ninh Binh province and Asan city will strengthen exchanges and promote cooperation between fields, especially fields of interest to both sides such as industry, tourism, education-training, employment, etc. Thereby further tightening the cooperative relationship and becoming a symbol of solidarity, cultural and economic exchange in the eyes of international friends.

Previously, the Asan City Council delegation offered incense at the temple of King Dinh Tien Hoang and the temple of King Le Dai Hanh in the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital Special National Relic Site and visited some famous tourist areas and spots in the province.
