According to the plan, the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly will open on May 5; the National Assembly will meet in two phases: phase 1 from May 5 to May 28 and phase 2 from June 11 to June 28.
Informing leaders of departments, branches and enterprises about the expected content and agenda of the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly, National Assembly Deputy Tran Huu Hau - Chairman of the Provincial Business Association, Member of the National Assembly's Committee on Law and Justice said that the National Assembly will consider and decide to amend and supplement a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; consider and pass 30 laws, 7 resolutions; give initial opinions on 6 draft laws;
Review and decide on socio-economic issues, the State budget, supervision and other important issues. Many of these issues are related to the organization of the apparatus and government; preparations for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
The latest update on the 9th session at the conference to disseminate the 11th Central Resolution held on the morning of April 16, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that as of April 14, the 9th session, the National Assembly will give opinions and pass 31 draft laws, 12 resolutions; give opinions on 10 draft laws (not including resolutions on the arrangement of provincial and communal administrative units that will be considered and decided during the session). This is the largest workload ever in the history of National Assembly sessions.
At the conference, National Assembly Deputy Tran Huu Hau reported a summary of the responses of central ministries and branches to the contents proposed by leaders of departments, branches and enterprises of Tay Ninh province at the previous voter contact session. Accordingly, up to now, 7/8 contents have been answered by central ministries and branches, while 1 recommendation has not been answered. In general, central ministries and branches responded within the prescribed time, the responses were focused, ensuring the full content of the recommendations and providing specific instructions for voters to follow in accordance with the law.
Delegate Tran Huu Hau also presented a report summarizing the recommendations of voters of Tay Ninh province under local authority before the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly; the leader of the Provincial People's Committee Office reported on the results of socio-economic development in the first quarter of 2025, and the key directions and tasks of the Provincial People's Committee in the second quarter of 2025.
Based on the report summarizing the recommendations of Tay Ninh voters under local authority, the leaders of the Departments of Construction, Agriculture and Environment, and Health responded to the content of voters' recommendations on repairing provincial road 793 (from Tan Binh commune intersection, Tay Ninh city towards Cay Cay); the problem of pollution of Dia Xu canal (Ben Cau district); the shortage of medicine and medical supplies.
Giving opinions on the proposed agenda of the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly, leaders of departments and branches said that in this session, the National Assembly will consider and give opinions on more than 40 draft laws, not to mention resolutions. With such a large amount of work, it is too much, even overloaded, and the pressure is very high; I hope that the National Assembly deputies will focus on working with the highest sense of responsibility and positivity to ensure that the draft laws, after being passed by the National Assembly, will promptly remove difficulties and obstacles, be synchronous, feasible, and respond to the new situation.
National Assembly Deputy Huynh Thanh Phuong thanked the leaders of departments, branches and enterprises for attending the meeting, and at the same time requested the leaders of the departments to continue to complete documents responding to voters' opinions and recommendations on issues under the jurisdiction of the locality.
National Assembly Deputy Huynh Thanh Phuong said that the draft laws were reviewed by the National Assembly; the law-making work ensured adherence to the policy of innovative thinking, which is that the law only regulates framework issues, issues of principle, and does not need to be too detailed; the Government and ministries and branches will issue detailed regulations on specific contents.
National Assembly Deputy Huynh Thanh Phuong hopes that local leaders, departments and branches will continue to research and increase direct exchanges on inadequacies and overlaps arising from the practical application of the law, helping delegates have more information to discuss at the National Assembly forum.
