The provincial National Assembly delegation actively prepares for the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly

The 7th session of the 15th National Assembly is expected to be divided into two sessions: the first session is expected to take place from May 20 to June 8, and the second session is expected to take place from June 17 to June 27, 2024 in Hanoi. To prepare the content for the National Assembly session to ensure quality and timeliness, the National Assembly Delegation of Thanh Hoa province has focused on implementing related content in the spirit of innovation, creativity, quality and efficiency.

The provincial National Assembly delegation actively prepares for the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly Conference on contact between voters and workers, civil servants and laborers of Thanh Hoa province in 2024.

The activities of meeting voters before the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly were coordinated by the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies with the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and relevant agencies to organize 8 meetings with voters, with nearly 2,000 voters directly participating in the districts: Ba Thuoc, Quan Son, Cam Thuy, Ngoc Lac, Thach Thanh, Quan Hoa, Lang Chanh, Vinh Loc. The Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies also organized meetings with voters on topics to listen to the opinions and recommendations of voters of the Provincial Social Insurance on issues related to the content of the draft Law on Social Insurance (amended); Thematic voter meetings with workers, civil servants and laborers of Thanh Hoa province in 2024. Through monitoring voter meetings, we noted that the voter meetings were attended by representatives of provincial departments and branches and district-level leaders, who directly provided a lot of information and clearly answered many issues of concern to voters within their authority, contributing to improving the quality of voter meetings. The National Assembly deputies also demonstrated a sense of responsibility, openness, and acceptance of voters' opinions and suggestions; at the same time, they explained and clarified many contents, shared the difficulties and concerns of voters related to the existence and inadequacies of land, planning, rising prices and policy inadequacies; and expressed the hope that localities would pay attention to resolving issues within the authority of district and commune levels. From the opinions and suggestions of voters, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation has also synthesized and classified content groups according to the authority of the Central and Provincial Governments and by sectors and fields to report to all levels for resolution and reflection at the upcoming National Assembly session.

In addition, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies also worked with the Provincial People's Committee and provincial departments and branches to listen to the socio-economic situation in the area as well as the difficulties, shortcomings, recommendations and proposals of the province to the Central Government and the National Assembly; the results of handling voters' recommendations sent by the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies and implementing the recommendations of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies on the 4 topics of supervision of the National Assembly since the beginning of the year. Through the meeting, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies continued to urge the Provincial People's Committee to continue to pay attention to better handling voters' recommendations and reflections under its authority; for any content that can be resolved, there should be a specific plan and roadmap, for any content that cannot be resolved, a clear answer should be given so that the delegation has a basis to respond to voters; at the same time, it directed and urged the departments and branches to fully and responsibly handle the recommendations after the supervision of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies on the topics that have been supervised recently. The meeting also helped the delegation have more information, especially recommendations and proposals from the province for the Provincial National Assembly Delegation to contribute opinions and proposals in the activities at the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

To contribute to the draft laws and resolutions submitted to the National Assembly this time, based on the law-making program, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies has collected documents, proactively researched, prepared discussion content, and at the same time requested National Assembly Deputies to focus on researching and participating in discussions on a number of contents in specialized fields. Along with that, direct conferences were organized and written comments were collected from relevant sectors or individuals directly affected by the law, and the team of law-making collaborators. From the comments of agencies, sectors, and individuals, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies has researched, filtered, synthesized, and reported to the National Assembly Standing Committee for absorption and revision during the process of drafting the draft laws; at the same time, it has served as a document to contribute comments to the law-making at the upcoming National Assembly session.

Along with that, through understanding the thoughts and aspirations of voters and public opinion, the National Assembly Delegation of Thanh Hoa province has proposed groups of issues that are expected to be questioned at the session. In addition, the National Assembly Delegation has reported to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council to give opinions on the contents that the delegation is preparing to participate in at the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly. The National Assembly Delegates in the delegation also spent time studying and giving opinions on the expected program and contents of the session... In addition, the National Assembly Delegation of Thanh Hoa province will also take advantage of the time to work with the provincial leaders to organize meetings with a number of agencies of the National Assembly, the Government, ministries, departments and central branches to report on the socio-economic situation, national defense and security, the potentials, advantages and difficulties and challenges of the province at present; at the same time, recommend and propose a number of specific contents to help the province handle and remove difficulties and obstacles. The provincial National Assembly Delegation also directed the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council to actively and proactively coordinate with the National Assembly Office and relevant agencies to prepare good conditions to ensure participation in the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

With active and thoughtful preparation, voters and people in the province believe that the National Assembly deputies of the provincial National Assembly Delegation will make many important contributions to the success of the session, creating more confidence for voters in the new development path of the National Assembly and the country.
