In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of Economic-Defense Youth Union 737 has promoted the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, and creativity, leading the unit to comprehensively complete the goals and targets set out in the Congress Resolution.

Outstanding as a unit effectively implementing investment projects to build Economic-Defense Zones, contributing to strengthening national defense and security, creating sustainable livelihoods for people, and building a strong political base in border areas.

The delegation handed over the model of raising buffalo and cows for reproduction to 172 households with a total cost of nearly 5 billion VND, helping 50 households escape poverty sustainably. Coordinated with businesses to implement projects, creating more than 564,000 working days, worth nearly 139 billion VND, increasing income and improving the lives of people in the project area.

The project to enhance young intellectual volunteers to work at the Youth Union for the period 2021-2030 has been effectively implemented, selecting 32 team members in 2 phases, promoting the pioneering role, attachment and responsibility to the locality. Accompanying the mass mobilization work, in the past 5 years, the Youth Union has supported the construction of 13 houses for disadvantaged households; visited and presented nearly 2,000 gifts worth hundreds of millions of VND to policy families, poor households, and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; examined and provided free medicine to more than 1,100 people...

Speaking at the congress, Major General Hua Van Tuong acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Party Committee of Economic-Defense Group 737, and requested that in the coming time, the unit should continue to promote its core role in economic development associated with national defense and security.

In particular, focusing on improving the political and ideological quality of cadres and party members; upholding the Party's leadership principles, strengthening coordination with local Party committees and authorities to effectively implement national target projects and programs in the Ea Sup project area.

The Congress determined the direction for the 2025-2030 term, the unit strives to build a clean and strong Party organization in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization and staff; a comprehensively strong unit "exemplary, typical", successfully completing all assigned tasks.

The Congress identified three breakthroughs in the coming term: Improving the quality of poverty reduction models, contributing to economic and social development in the Economic-Defense Zone; strengthening the implementation of regularity, strictly abiding by laws and disciplines, ensuring safety and improving the quality of implementation of Party regulations, working regulations of Party committees and Party cells; building a contingent of cadres with sufficient qualities and capacity to meet requirements and tasks.
