At noon on November 29 in Hanoi, Dong Luc Sports Group officially launched the official uniform of the Vietnamese sports delegation at the 33rd SEA Games. Attending the event were representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Physical Training and Sports, the Hanoi People's Committee and the delegations of athletes and coaches of the national teams.
The official uniform of the Vietnamese sports delegation attending the 33rd SEA Games is called Rise Beyond, built on the idea of a magical night sky, with fireworks, shining stars and shooting stars.
It is the image that symbolizes the journey of athletes: quiet, patient and explosive at the right time.
Just like previous SEA Games, red continues to be the main color, representing the Vietnamese national flag, the will and fighting spirit of the Vietnamese people.
White is the color associated with glorious milestones of Vietnamese sports such as the 2008 AFF Cup championship, the 30th SEA Games gold medal, and is included for the first time in the official competition uniform as a reminder of the glorious past and belief in the future.
Finally, the blue tone is a completely new highlight. This is a tone that not only symbolizes peace , hope and renewable energy, but also the color of the open sky, where Vietnamese athletes stride to reach new limits.
Representative of Dong Luc Sports Group, Ms. Le Vu Hong Ngoc said: "Our mission does not stop at creating quality competition costumes, but also conveying the spirit, aspiration and national pride to each athlete.
The Rise Beyond collection will carry a message of breakthrough, perseverance and determination to conquer new heights of Vietnamese sports."
Speaking at the event, on behalf of Vietnamese athletes, tennis player Nguyen Thuy Linh said she felt comfortable, confident and full of energy when wearing the new outfit to practice and hoped that confidence would be maintained when competing at the 33rd SEA Games.
