The aim of the exam is to assess students' English Math proficiency at different levels, enhance their ability to study Mathematics in mind-stimulating activities and help students develop mathematical intuition, logical thinking and problem-solving strategies.
The Vietnamese delegation of 26 contestants attended the SEAMO X International Round in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from January 17 to January 20, 2025, along with thousands of contestants from 22 countries and territories.
As a result, the Vietnamese delegation won: 2 Gold Medals, 3 Silver Medals, 4 Bronze Medals and 14 Encouragement Prizes. Of which:
– Contestant Tran Lam Dao, 6th grade student, Nguyen Truong To Secondary School, Hanoi and contestant Huynh Huy Hoang, 8th grade student, Nguyen Thai Binh Secondary School, Ca Mau: Gold Medal.
– Contestant Nguyen Trong The Duy, 6th grade student, Doan Thi Diem Secondary School, Hanoi; contestant Le Quang Nguyen Vu, 8th grade student, Chu Van An Secondary School, Thua Thien Hue and contestant Ta Le Quoc Bao, 9th grade student, Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School: Silver Medal;
– Contestant Nguyen Ha An, 6th grade student, Chu Van An Secondary School, Hanoi; contestant Vu Hoang Nguyen Khanh, 7th grade student, Ngoi Sao Primary and Secondary School, Hanoi; contestant Ngo Gia Hung, 11th grade student, Chu Van An High School, Hanoi and contestant Nguyen Quan Minh, 11th grade student, Vinh University High School for the Gifted: Bronze Medal.
In particular, contestant Tran Lam Dao, a 6th grade student at Nguyen Truong To Secondary School, Hanoi, excellently won the Gold Medal with an absolute score of 100/100. At the same time, he is also the contestant who won the Gold Prize for 4 consecutive years at the SEAMO X International Round.
This impressive achievement is thanks to the care, encouragement and support of teachers, parents and the efforts of students. This is a valuable source of spiritual motivation for students to strive even harder in their studies and training in the future.
